My grocery store stopped selling this item, so i was very happy to see a multi-pack here. And the price is much better than buying one at a time at the market. Easy to prepare, and we like to make this with bar-b-que'd pork chops.. it's a great combo! This is red beans & rice, so it is wet, not a dry rice... which is what you want from red beans & rice. Yes, it is a packaged item, so it is salty, but it's a flavorful treat eaten in moderation. Additional info: Wonderful packaging - a factory-sealed 8-pack carton, and good exp dates: bought 8/2025, Best By: May 2027.
