This gift set includes a body wash, body balm, and hand balm, all in a beautifully warm fig and amber scent. The fragrance is fresh but also deep and woody enough that it could be unisex. It’s noticeable but not overpowering, and I can still catch subtle hints of the scent the next morning after using it in an evening shower.The body wash is exfoliating and quite different from a typical shower gel. It doesn’t produce a dense foamy lather, and it’s definitely not something I would use every day. The exfoliating particles are fairly scrubby, so you really do feel like you’re getting a good exfoliation. They don’t feel harsh or painful, but my skin definitely feels smoother afterward. As a small test, I’ve used my regular post-shower glycolic acid after this scrub and it doesn’t burn any more than usual, which reassures me that the scrub particles aren’t causing micro-tears in the skin.The body balm is incredibly thick. This isn’t a lotion or even a typical body butter; it’s truly a dense, rich balm that feels very protective and nourishing on the skin. It does take a little work to rub in, but I’ve found that applying it to damp skin right after the shower helps it absorb much more easily. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft.The hand balm is my favorite product in the set. It’s also very rich and dense, and it makes my hands feel amazing. I like to use it at night with cotton gloves, and I wake up with incredibly soft skin. It’s a little too rich for me to use during the day; it’s not greasy, but it does leave a bit of a protective film on my hands.I’m so happy with this set and feel like it would be a wonderful gift for someone who enjoys a more indulgent skincare routine. I tend to reach for it during evening showers as part of a weekly self-care ritual, and it’s been a really nice way to add a little pampering to my routine.
