I received a short Brigs Cam boot from Ortho doctor after surgery for trimalleolar fracture that required incisions on both sides of ankle to place plates and screws. The liner that came with the boot rubbed on the interior ankle incision causing lots of pain. The only fix was a neoprene can cozy. I needed to wash my cam liner so I ordered this blue one as a back up while the other air dried. I was pleased it has a piece of foam to cushion the middle ankle strap that caused my issues and still provided air cushion support. The medium stuck out a little past my medium Brig boot.
