Wow. This knee brace has exceeded my expectations tremendously. First of all, its framing is made out of some sort of metal, not plastic with a metal hinge like most of the others. Seems like it would’ve benefited them to note that in the description. Being made out of metal means it is sturdy and strong. And actually does The function of supporting my leg. Which is the whole reason for getting the brace.There’s more. The ad states that the straps have a quick release button. Which they do. But the dials on the opposite side are then used to tighten the straps individually. It’s so simple. You snap in the loose strap. And then turn the dial and it gets as tight as you want. How cool is that. Then in the center of each dial is a button. So when you’re ready to take the brace off, you just push the button and the strap gets loose. You still have to go to the other side and hit the quick release button. But I couldn’t have designed it any better if I had done it myself. And I was truly getting desperate. I thought I really was going to have to actually design my own knee brace. Because so many of them out there are junk.If you look at the straight on image, you can see that the brace takes a bit of an angle. Which just so happens to be the same angle as my leg. And hopefully most other peoples. That means when your leg is bending, it’s doing the natural bend And not the type of bend that the other braces do. Frankly, the other braces are pretty much worthless in my book.On the outer edge, is another silver dial which enables you to lengthen the brace once you have it on.OK, I don’t want to keep you forever. The final impression is that this is a comfortable brace. The padding is high-quality. I would rather not have any brace on my leg at all. But if there is going to be one on, this is the brace that I want. I’m so lucky to have ordered it. There were so many others to choose from. I’ve been trying braces over the years because I don’t want to get surgery. Be sure to order the correct one for the correct leg. The dials should be on the outside. I ordered the one for the left leg.
