Ladies opaque nylon tights with 20-30 mmHg firm compression strength offer medical grade support to help improve circulation, reduce the risk of blood clots (pulmonary embolism), and aid recovery from varicose veins. The opaque fabric conceals cosmetic issues such a spider veins and bulging skin, while promoting healing to reduce swelling in and around the legs and hips. These compression pantyhose also work to shape and contour the lower body in the legs, gluts, quads, calf and backside. Panty features include a sewn-on plush waistband, flat reinforced seams and a generous ventilated cotton panel for a long-lasting inconspicuous fit and breathable wearing comfort. Advanced microfiber-soft fibers offer increased stretch for ease in donning (application) and removing the garment. OK, I am 3 months pregnant, have had vein surgery on both legs, and these tights are amazing! They are so much easier to put on than the individual stockings the doctors gave me, and they don't leave the little silicone bead marks on my thighs since these don't have them. I have had discoloration on my upper thigh for months now from those stupid beads that hold the stockings up. To address issues other folks have mentioned in their reviews, these are not leggings. They are not meant to be worn alone with nothing covering your butt. These are tights and are made to be worn under dresses, shorts, etc... Please read the product name and description fully before leaving a bad review just because you didn't do your due diligence. Sizing is honestly spot on. I am 145-150lb normally more now at 3 months preggo, 5'9", hips 37-38", and 28-29" waist. The medium fits great. People said they were difficult to get on and were too small....These are firm compression tights so they are going to be difficult to get on and are going to fit tight. If you are looking for a pari of leggings that will suck you in a bit, try Fabletics. If you need comrpession tights that work and are easy to wear all day, these are great! I will say the pricing seems a bit high, but they are priced better than most other options I saw on here and are FSA/HSA eligible so that's a nice bonus as well.
