Caffeine and coffee usually have a somewhat wondrous effect on skin. To use correctly dampen the body first enough to where the coffee is sure to exfoliate into the skin. Once the skin is moist the process can begin. Using the TERRE DE MARS| Resurgence Coffee Powder Exfoliator apply all over the body rubbing into the skin as much as practical using a light exfoliation method to softly grind the coffee into the skin. Once the body is covered let the product rest a few minutes before rinsing.Here comes the magic. Depending on what type of coffee scrub you selected it yields results at the rinse. TERRE DE MARS| Resurgence Coffee Powder Exfoliator left my skin tight and smooth, smelling slightly like coffee. It worked well to firm the skin but lacked the tingling skin buzz that I have felt with other coffee scrubs. I do not know if this is related to caffeine content or another characteristic of coffee scrubs. Rinsing requires extra time and effort as it is often difficult to wash the actual coffee grinds from different parts of the body.
