I was intrigued by this coffee scrub paste, and I liked that it appeared to be environmentally friendly. The directions stated to apply the scrub to damp skin, let it sit for 3-5 minutes, and rinse. I didn't really know what to expect, but this product is literally coffee grounds with some other ingredients.Obviously, it smells like coffee, which is nice, but I'm not sure how I feel about straight up coffee grounds in a face scrub. It was odd. Anyway, I applied the scrub to my face, and all I can say is that I am glad I live alone, because this stuff looks pretty gross on your face. After a few minutes, I rinsed it off, which a bit messy, because it left coffee grounds around my sink. In addition, I am not sure if it's a great idea to be washing coffee grounds down the sink. I will admit that my skin did indeed feel very smooth, so it was certainly effective.Overall, if you love coffee and are looking for a more eco-friendly face scrub (and don't mind washing coffee grounds down your sink), then you will probably like this. I probably won't order again just because it's a bit messy.
