Given the kind of job I have the reusable silicone cups aren't really an option and I feel cardboard applicators, while not the most comfortable option, are a little more environmentally friendly than plastic. The cardboard at least will degrade. For some reason my local grocery store no longer carries the cardboard options so this is a good alternative source and a great price.
