I think like most women with curly hair, I've tried just about every product out there. The Surface Curls Firm Styling Mousse has to be the best single product I've ever used. I used to use 2-3 products together at the same time to get the desired look. Now, I just use this mousse to provide gentle control for my curly hair. I don't have tight curls so when I don't use any product, my curls don't stay together, but with this mousse they do and my hair doesn't feel tacky or crunchy. My hair is kind of thick, so I have to separate it and work in the mousse on each side of my end, working it from root to end, then use a diffuser to dry upside down (or laying back at the salon is even better). And it works best when my hair is really wet, not towel dried. I also love that Surface products are organic and cruelty free. For me, it checks all the boxes.
