Sulwhasoo Lumiwise Essence Water | Prep & Illuminate | Smooth & Refine | Daily Radiance Starter | Korean Skincare Water

I am a diehard Sulwhasoo fan - it’s my favorite of all skincare brands, Korean or otherwise. I have been using a couple of the new Lumiwise lines products and recently had the opportunity to order and try Sulwhasoo’s Lumiwise Brightening Essence Water. This is a 5.07 ounce bottle of the new toner. In typical Sulwhasoo fashion, the bottle is stunning and sleek in appearance. The consistency is that of a thin, lightweight toner. All Sulwhasoo products have some level of fragrance, and in this case the scent is the lightest I’ve smelled. It is designed to boost hydration and comfort, refine uneven texture, refine skin tone, and prep your skin to optimize the next steps in your skincare regimen. It is formulated to do this with fantastic and thoughtful ingredients like niacinamide, ginseng PHA, betaine and panax ginseng root extract. It does contain fragrance, which is to be expected with this brand. Running the ingredients through an analyzer, it came back with the following: not fragrance free or EU allergen free. With that said, it is sulfate, silicone, paraben, alcohol, and oil free along with being reef-safe and fungal acne safe. This bottle has pump style distribution and one pump is plenty to apply in my hand and pat into all of my facial skin. It absorbs at a reasonable pace and allows me to apply a couple layers without any sticky feeling or remaining residue. After using it for a few days, I have noticed that my face feels more hydrated and nourished, resulting in it looking plumper. It feels softer and smoother. It looks more radiant where my skin often looks dull. I have had no adverse reactions at all - only a great experience and positive results. I love pairing this with the rest of the line for a complete skincare experience minus a cream. This is an absolute new favorite toner of mine and I am so excited to keep it in my daily routine! Sulwhasoo is a luxury, premium brand that is always nice quality and always works great for my skin. Premium products come at a premium price and at $90 for a bottle, I think it’s a very reasonable price and the quality makes it a great value. I absolutely recommend it!
