I cringe when I think of all those years I spent shaving with canned shaving cream. If you have never tried St. James shaving cream, you do not know what you are missing. A little dab creates a great lather, and the razor glides effortlessly, even when I have multi-day stubble.I used to use "sensitive-skin" shaving creams, and St. James does not irritate at all. It protects your skin and leaves it smooth and moist, and the sandalwood and bergamot scent is lovely.The price may seem expensive, but a little goes a long way. I use a dab about the side of a large pea, so the tube lasts quite a while. If you apply it with your hand rather than a brush, add a few drops of water to your hand as you apply it to your face. That will help it lubricate and develop a nice lather.I just wish they made a larger size tube rather than just the larger-sized jar.
