My husband is very happy with this acne gel. He has used a sulfuric spot treatment before (e.g. Kate Somerville and Mario Badescu) with great results, but that style of treatment takes some time to apply and is more involved - requiring you to stick a cotton swab through the clear liquid in the bottle to obtain the pink sediment at the bottom for application. It’s also not something you can walk around outdoors with after applying unless you want to look like a spotted creature, as the sulfuric treatment dries in pinkish-white spots on your face. This Sonage Salicylic Acne Gel on the other hand, is invisible once it dries, and my husband was looking forward to something simpler and less messy.It seems like a high quality product so far, and also has a very pleasant tea tree oil aroma. I have personally used tea tree oil spot treatments in the past but honestly, none have smelled as good as this one! The scent lingers for a while, and my husband is super pleased that he smells good after using an acne gel.He has reported that the gel is fast-acting and he only needs a “molecule-sized” dollop 1 to 2 times a day (though the instructions say you can apply it up to 3 times a day). He’s thrilled at how much faster it works than previous acne treatments.Highly recommend!
