When I think of truffles, I instantly think of something gourmet and upscale. I was excited to try this Truffle Therapy Dream Cream due to the inclusion of Black Winter Truffle Extract. Truffles are packed full of antioxidants so I was hoping for a little bit of skin rejuvenation. I have combination skin - oily T-zone but dry everywhere else. Finding moisturizers that work well with my skin can be tricky.The cream itself is rich, thick and easy to spread over my skin.I thought the fragrance was incredibly strong and perfumey. This wouldn't bother much as much if it was a day cream but since it is a night cream, the potent fragrance bothers me a bit when I'm trying to unwind before bed. Thankfully, the fragrance is pleasant, I just found it to be a bit too strong.For a thicker, rich cream, I was impressed that it didn't take long to absorb. My skin drank up all of that wonderful hydration! I loved that my skin didn't feel slimy or coated after application. This is a problem that I encounter with many night creams. There have been occasions when I even had to put down a hand towel on my pillow case to lay my face on because the face cream was THAT sticky. YUCK! Thankfully, that was NOT the case with this product!Once absorbed, my skin feels SO incredibly supple, hydrated, and smooth. I personally would not apply this in the day time. I do find that my skin tends to get a little oily later on in the day which would probably interfere with the wear of my makeup. (at least for my skin type) I apply it as a night cream, as it is intended, and it is working great!After only a few uses, my skin is very nourished! It is brighter, hydrated, and so healthy looking. :)**I'm not sure if this applies to everyone that orders, but mine came with a few surprise samples. I got a tiny tube of Midnight Dew Mask and 2 little packets of serum and whipped cleansing cream. I definitely appreciated that as I love trying new products!
