...that saved a wretch like me! I severely sprained an ankle doing parkour which forced me to examine ankle braces. I bought this brace (in XL) for myself and was able to play ultimate, inline skate, run mountain trails, and train capoeira without any pain long before the injury was healed sufficiently to allow even non-strenuous activity without the brace.Very comfortable, fits great.Only problem for me was with the tightness I wore it and the level of activity, I did EVENTUALLY manage to rip the spandex comfort cushion protection strip across the upper achilles, which made it a bit less comfortable (caused chafing) at the back of the foot just above the heel, but this didn't compromise the support provided.When my girlfriend sprained her ankle I came straight back and bought her one as well, and she's loved it, too.
