Recent User Experience

Delivery was prompt and all cans arrived undamaged. Fish was top quality and packed tightly into the can but without crushing or breaking up the meat. Generally I avoid using canned foods; the processing conditions required for sterilization take a toll on food flavor and texture. But for some foods the advantages make it worthwhile. In particular, with perishable foods that are not local sourced, such as Pacific salmon and California tomatoes. Sure, in Alaska I’d probably just go fishing, or buy from a local, but by the time fresh fish gets to the East Coast it is not fresh n Frozen is good too, but it is 2-3 times as expensive. Anyway, canned is never going to be as good as fresh, but this product is as good as it gets for canned fish. It is edible right out of the can, but I usually make fish cakes with it. I use a lot of spices herbs garlic and onion and some flour as a binder, then fry them up. No point in using expensive fresh or frozen fish for fish cakes anyway, these cans are a bargain. Less than $5 each and makes enough for a couple meals.
