My husband had a stroke and his in his left hand the nerves are starting to "wake up" the dr's say so as a result his hand is very sore and trying to stop the contracture has been very hard. We purchased the Rolyan Palm Protector with Finger Separators, Left Handed Glove for Finger Contracture Prevention, Comfortable Hand Cushion with Sherpa Lining On Palm and Finger Separations which he likes but right now his fingers hurt putting it on. We got this productRolyan Sof-Foam Palm Shield for Left Hand, Foam Contracture Cushion to Support Fingers, Padded Hand Protector with Finger Separators for Left Hands, Medical Gloves for Stroke, Disabled, Elderly and he loves it! Very easy to put his partially contracted hand into the finger separators and he finds it very comfortable. I think the other reviews are for the wrong or different product. This product does not have gel and is not advertised that way.
