I have bought the tiny glass jars of artichoke hearts for many years in the grocery store paying 3-4 dollars for 3.5 oz. This is an amazing value if you have a bunch of glass jars to transfer the contents to after opening. The artichoke hearts are soft, not tough, but not mushy. The seasoning is excellent, but not overpowering. And they are not too oily either which is the biggest problem with the gourmet grocery jars. I've gone through 4 cans and have yet to get a bad batch.
