I've been ordering this tuna for a while, even had it on subscription until it was no longer a subscribe item( in this 3 pack version that is) Yes, it is on the expensive side, but it is so delicious, never fishy, or strong tasting ,just right. Additionally, according to the web, Rio Mare falls well below toxic mercury levels. And, contrary to what one reviewer espounded: Katsuwonus pelamis (copied from the label) is Skipjack Tuna and NOT Yellowfin Tuna, which is supposed to be at the high mercury end-- which I hated to find out since I love yellowfin too. But, back to this review, never worry about quality with Rio Mare. Consistency is their middle name! I'm fixin to eat some right now!! Taste terrific right from the can.
