I have been using Rene Furtherer products to ensure my hair remains healthy following years of perms and coloring. The "Complexe 5" concentrate leaves my scalp clean, hair soft and mangeable.It DOES have a strong scent and can leave your scalp tingling. Neither bothers me but should be noted in this recomemndation.There are so MANY hair treatment products on the market and the selection of one over the other is an individual choice. I have found this product (and the KARITE MASK) the MOST EFFECTIVE ON MY HAIR. This brand is pricey, but for me the old adage: why fix something that is not broken - applies to the consistent net positive results I have with Rene Furtherer products over the years.
