I have used this blow dry heat protectant cream for blow drying and as an air dry styling cream. For my 2B thick, coarse, wavy, long hair, it works well. It helps control frizz, protects my hair from the heat of the blow dryer, gives some volume, does not weigh my hair down, and I honestly can’t even feel that I have the product in my hair whether it’s blow dried or air dried. It has a pleasant smell, but it’s very subtle so that I don’t tend to smell it at all once my hair is dry. I am very happy with this product and will continue to use it as long as Redken continues to produce it.
