Glycolic acid is in the top 5 of my favorite ingredients for my mature (50) skin because of how awesome it exfoliates quickly, helps increase collagen production, and increases the thickness of the skin.While it usually comes in a serum, I really love that it’s in this cream. It can be drying too but the cream makes up for that with the addition of good moisturizing ingredients like mango seed butter, hyaluronic acid, penthenol, adenosine, glasswort extract, and beta-glucan.Since glycolic acid is the third ingredient, it’s most likely in a higher concentration. I normally use retinol at night and only occasionally use AHAs but lately I’ve been alternating retinol and this cream every other night. Using them together is never really recommended because of the potential irritation from two very potent ingredients.My skin has been delighted by adding this cream to my nightly routine. I can see obvious brightening, clearing, and an overall smoother appearance.I do recommend it, especially for aging skin, if you are okay with the premium cost.
