Honestly, this product was even better than I expected. I really wanted smoked mackerel, but I was worried that ordering fish on Amazon (instead of buying it in a physical store) could be risky — I was afraid it might arrive spoiled, smelly, or overly salty.To my surprise, everything was perfect. The delivery was very fast: I ordered yesterday and received it today. The fish is very tasty, not too salty at all, with a nice mild smoked flavor. One thing that initially confused me is that garlic is mentioned in the description, but I don’t really taste or smell any strong garlic flavor. To me, it tastes more like a lightly smoked and slightly dried fish rather than a strongly garlic-seasoned one.I’m enjoying it with non-alcoholic beer right now — absolutely delicious. It would also be great for cooking (for example, boiling it or using it in other dishes), and I think people who enjoy sandwiches would really like it as well.The only downside for me is the portion size — it’s quite small for the price. In a local store, you could buy a whole large mackerel for the same money. That said, this price includes delivery and convenience.Of course, for someone who grew up with traditional fully smoked mackerel (like in Ukraine), this won’t fully replace that classic taste. Still, considering the quality and freshness, if we’re talking about taste rather than price, it’s definitely a 5-star product.
