I bought a carrom board that was used from offerup and that surface was very rough perhaps due to water spillage.It used to make all scratching sound while playing and the striker was tough to go. I did some reserach on offical carrom board powders; apparently, people think disco powder ('pink sand felt' one) as real ones. but actually what you find with this is the real borric powder. the carrom. board was super smooth and calm after applying. it also lasts for long time.
