This actually makes really good crab cakes. It has an easy open can, and is pretty finely shredded, which some may not like but actually works really well for crab cakes, so they stay together and don't fall apart.There is a freshwater crab smell thats a little fisher and less salty than ocean crabs, if you're not used to it, but it didn't smell rancid.These made four large flavorful and soft texture crab cakes, good enough for a meal for two as the main course, or four if you have other sides.The can is average size, and I think due to the ease of use and especially how well they make crab cakes, its a pretty average value for the money.
