Oh... these are good. I like the very mild tomato sauce. The fish are large. They are bone-in which is what you want because the bones are chock-a-block full of nutrients. And, once cooked as these are, they become soft; you seriously do not feel them at all. I like to put these sardines on a slice of bread, add a bit of the sauce, maybe a bit of cheese, and you have a great lunch.Take a can of these sardines, run a small knife through a few times to break them into bite-size pieces, and dump the fish and sauce onto five ounces of hot pasta (spaghetti or linguine work well), add a simple salad, some bread, a bottle of wine and you have a quick dinner for two. Couldn’t be easier.They actually smell fresh. And mine arrived with about two years of sheld life remaining. No refrigeration required until opened.These are great to have in the pantry for a quick snack or meal.
