This Phytomer Citylife Ultra Cleansing Facial Peel really surprised me. I thought it would either be too harsh or not work, but I was so wrong. I initially tried the product on my hand to make sure I was not allergic and was surprised how one pump of this foam made a visible difference within just one application, removing dullness and dry skin. I took pics of the treated and non treated hand to show the difference. On my face it is even better. After my normal evening wash regimen I pump one and a half pumps of this lightly scented (it smells really nice) foam and massage it into my face. Even though it recommends not using in the eye contour, I do at the lower outer edges to hit my crows feet. After rinsing and patting dry, my face feels refreshed, not tight, but it feels like it can breathe. It has not taken away my wrinkles (only a surgeon is going to do that at this point) but it makes my skin dewy and greatly reduces the appearance of my finer lines. I also feel that my serums and lotions absorb a lot better after this. In the morning, no flaky skin. I feel like it has also improved my pore size as well as evened my skin tone. It is gentle but effective for daily use, even on my sensitive skin. I plan to keep this as a part of my skincare routine moving forward.
