Recent User Experience

I have been using an electric shaver for 40 years and have tried all different brands, but I always came back to the Norelco. My favorite was the SensoTouch 3D before they changed the design of the SH90. I have been using a replacement 9311 shaver with the original SH90 head which I periodically sharpened the blades, for many years. Even with that, I would follow up with a Gillette razor for the cleanest shave. I also wet shave in the shower with body wash for lubrication.Now for the important part. This shaver cuts so close there is no difference between it and the razor. It did this right out of the box with no break in. The comfort glide heads did not glide as smooth as advertised, but not a deal breaker. The head design makes it a little getting used to getting close to the nose without trying different angle. The nose and ear hair trimmer is an interesting design that works well. Norelco finally put the sideburn trimmer back integral to the shaver. The charge cord is USB A and the plug into the shaver is designed such that you don't have to rotate it to plug in. I haven't used the SenseIQ because I can tell what works best without AI.The cleaning pod is a superior design to the old style that you had to plug in and more compact. Stick the shaver in it and one minute later you are done.In short, Norelco fixed short comings with my previous shavers and heads and this is best one I have ever used. This appears to be a 2023 model and has a great price on Amazon right now. Get one while you can.
