The Philips Lumea IPL device has been such a welcome addition to my self care. I have always been interested in trying IPL and I now only wish I had done it sooner. This was extremely easy to get started with— the instruction book was detailed, straightforward, and very helpful. There was zero pain, no irritation, no discomfort when using the device. I have used this both in my face, underarms, and overall body so far. After 2 sessions, I have noticed an overall decrease in hair present; and I expect that there will continue to be less as I follow the program. To get started, use once every 2 weeks (so easy!) for 4 sessions, and then keep up with a maintenance session. The device has delivered results for me, but I also appreciate that it was designed to be safe— for the skin, the user, and your environment. The light flashes, but it penetrates well into your skin and without pain. And even after a long session, the device doesn’t overheat. I absolutely recommend this Philips Lumea device I have 2 attachments (face, body), but I am looking to add more to target specific areas even better. Love that I can now spa quality hair removal at home, and for a fraction of the price.
