I’ve been using this Perricone MD Neuropeptide Firming & Brightening Under-Eye Cream for a couple weeks now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite eye creams I’ve ever used.My first reaction when opening the package was honestly a little bit of shock because the jar is comically tiny. With how little you need per application, this small jar will easily last months, which makes the price much more understandable.The ingredient profile is also fantastic. It features neuropeptides, which help support visible skin renewal and soften the look of expression lines. It also contains biomimetic growth factor peptides, designed to help improve the appearance of elasticity and support the look of natural collagen for firmer, more defined skin. These types of peptides are well known for helping improve the look of fine lines and firmness over time, especially in delicate areas like around the eyes.The formula itself feels luxurious. It’s rich and creamy, but glides on incredibly silky and absorbs beautifully into the skin without feeling heavy. It hydrates the under-eye area deeply while still sitting comfortably under other skincare and makeup.One of the things I appreciate most is how well it layers. This is the first under-eye cream I’ve used that works perfectly with both sunscreen and makeup. Whether I’m wearing cream products or powders, I haven’t experienced any creasing or pilling.I’ve already noticed my under-eye area looking brighter and smoother, which means I need less concealer than usual. The hydration alone makes a noticeable difference in how my makeup sits throughout the day, and my concealer creases far less even after the first use.Overall, this has quickly become a holy grail product for me.
