The quality of my Arc razor had started to diminish to a level that required me to pull out a disposable razor to shave after I shaved with my Panasonic.After looking at the extreme costs required to replace the foil and the blades, I decided to try just replacing the blades.The installation of these blades was simple, even without reading the Japanese instructions, and similar to my last razor (a Braun). You pop out the old blades (on a slight angle), and then replace the new blades by pushing them on (again at a slight angle). Replacing both blades took like 20 seconds.These blades are great! I haven't touched them, but given the quality of the shave, they must be very sharp. I dare say that they are better than the original blades giving a close and very comfortable shave. I hope they last longer than the year I got on the first set so I'm have to keep an eye on their durability. If they don't get more than a year, I might try the off -brand next time... since these are relatively pricey.
