If you're looking for a brand that really understands curly hair then Ouidad is the brand for you.This hair gel is the first one that has checked all the boxes for me. It delivers on the promise of protecting your hair from humidity. I live in Florida and the humidity used to be a hairstyle destroyer for me until I found this gel and the shampoo from the same line. My hair doesn't frizz up everytime I walk outside anymore. This product has excellent hold without leaving my hair super stiff and crunchy. It leaves my hair defined and my curls bouncy. My hair looks healthy and shiny when I use this product. I don't know if this product is scented but I don't detect any fragrance when I use it which I prefer.I wash my hair every three days so it's important to me that hair products don't leave my hair feeling gross and in need of a wash after one day. With this gel I'm able to go three days in between washes and my hair never feels dirty. My curls also hold up really well for those three days. I just use a small amount of curl refresher spray on days two and three and my hair looks as good as it did on day one.I always order the largest size of this product and I feel like it's a really good value for the price. The large bottle is fairly priced and it lasts me months. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a gel that protects against humidity, has excellent hold and that keeps your curls looking awesome until your next wash day!
