This knee brace is much easier to use than those you have with Velcro that wrap around. Unfortunately, if you don't get the right size, they slip down the leg a lot. My orthopedic doctor recommended a knee sleeve to help support my knee (disconnected ACL Ligament). In summer it gets hot but otherwise it is very comfortable and easy to use.
