Customers find the hernia support effective, with one noting it provides good abdominal compression. Recent User Experience

I mostly wanted to pass on to other folks that I bought the small size and I can just pull it around myself and hook up 1/2" of the velcro so it stays on. I wear 28 or 29" waist pants (Dockers). I recommend that if you wear larger pants, the small size is not for you. I have a small hernia, so small that doctors couldn't find it on an ultrasound so I can't get surgery, which I don't want anyway. I have had the product for about 4 days now and I have less pain and the hernia bump is smaller, so it does seem to aid healing for me. It is a bit of a puzzle at first and took me about 1/2 hour to get fitted for my legs and get it on with the right fit. It causes a bit of chafing on my hips so I only wear it for a few hours at a time, when I need it the most (walking, pushing a cart at work, etc.) The chafing would be better if I wore it over my boxers, but that makes going the bathroom more time consuming. It is uncomfortable to sit in at first but I got used to it after a few days. My main problem now is the chafing and I'll just deal with that. I would buy this again in a minute since it has promoted healing for me. I walked around a festival for 3 hours on Sunday and my hernia did not get worse that day or the next, which definitely would have happened without a support. Just fyi - the directions say to not use this product unless your hernia is reduced and to lay on your back to put it on if necessary so the hernia is reduced.
