Being paralyzed on my left side for 27 years has its challenges. My left foot turns inward due to limited ankle control. I 've always used a shoe brace, but the hard plastic kept my leg, ankle bone, and foot in pain. I ordered this Champion slip on brace to keep the plastic brace away from the ankle bone. To my surprise this brace work so well I have discared the plastic brace. I work in the garden, run a weedeater in ditches and so far have had no problems. I did have to get use to walking normal again instead of swinging the brace. This little jewel allows my ankle to flex while keeping it from curling inward. It works with all my footware and cleans easily. Thank you Amazon for one more step back to a normal life.
