Hair oil has become an important product in my protective braid hairstyle for bedtime. I also have seen fantastic results using oil as a prewash or in my damp hair before heat drying. This brand appealed to me due to the ingredients of this oil. The bottle is also aesthetic and beautiful to me personally.I have waist long 1A blonde straight hair that is fine. My hair can be a bit dry at the ends. I prefer to apply a small amount of hair oil to maintain my hair when in protective or fashionable braids. My husband has curly hair that has relaxed with age. He also benefits from scalp massage for his hair health so I use oils in my routine for him.I personally enjoy the benefit of my hair post oiled braids. With oil applied the night before I have beautiful glossy waves the next day. I think that curls hold better with hair oil to look more lustrous.I really enjoy this hair oil. The value for the price is worth the investment. I do feel the cap to the bottle was a struggle to remove. It is frustrating to pop off. The pump top works well, yet I would prefer a longer nozzle pump style.Hair oil is a struggle for me to find in a formula that suits me. My blonde hair often looks wet or greasy with hair oil. Even with careful small applications of hair oil. Generally instead of shining it often looks oily simply because of the nature of being blonde.This oil makes my hair have a luster and it does have a bit wet look only at first. Usually it is most obvious when my braids are first removed. After a day of being out of the braids, with or without my hair brushed or combed, my hair looks so healthy.I prefer hair oil to use as a prewash for hair health. I found this oil excellent because of all the helpful ingredients. I usually oil my hair significantly before wash day. The oil washed well. My hair was soft and felt smooth without feeling greasy still.My husband tried the oil in his hair. I have noted that I see volume to his hair as well as curl definition. My hair doesn't really show volume unless I use root lifting product.Most oils have a fragrance that bothers me in a sensory way but this oil is very relaxing. The oil in my hair has a very pleasant aroma. The scent is unisex and could be suitable for men or women. At first I wasn't sure what notes I was picking up but in the end the blend is very retreat or spa like.I'm pleased with the size of the oil to the price. I need very little at a time. I like to rotate the oils I use too.
