I paired this with the Oribe Eternal Curls Shampoo and it’s been a really great match for my hair. I have finer curls, so conditioners can easily weigh my hair down if they’re too heavy. This one manages to feel rich and hydrating while still keeping my hair light and bouncy.The texture is creamy but not overly thick, which makes it easy to distribute through the hair. I only use a small amount and start at the lengths, then work it upward slightly so my roots stay light. Using it this way keeps my curls soft and hydrated without flattening them.After rinsing, my hair feels incredibly smooth and soft, and my curls look more defined and hydrated rather than fluffy or dry. It gives that “conditioned but still lightweight” result that’s hard to find with curl conditioners.The scent is slightly different from the shampoo. It still smells great, but it leans a little more masculine compared to the classic Oribe signature scent in the shampoo. It’s subtle though and still very pleasant.I’ve tried quite a few Oribe products over time and have become a big fan of the brand. It’s definitely a luxury brand, but in my experience the formulas consistently perform incredibly well, and I find myself coming back to them again and again.- Fit & feel: Hydrating and smoothing without weighing down finer curls.- Ease of use: Creamy texture spreads easily, only a small amount needed.- Performance: Leaves hair noticeably softer, smoother, and more hydrated.- Curl results: Helps curls look defined and healthy rather than frizzy.- Scent: Slightly more masculine than the shampoo but still smells great.Things to note:- A little goes a long way, especially if you focus it on the mid-lengths and ends. Especially since it’s meant for thick coarse hair, it still works SO well for my dense yet fine hair.- Like most Oribe products, it sits in the luxury price range.Overall this is an excellent conditioner if you want hydration and softness without sacrificing volume or curl movement. My hair feels amazing after using it and it pairs beautifully with the shampoo.
