• Usage Tips - Determine the natural depth or level of hair, as well as the percentage of gray. Choose your desired levels and shades, keeping in mind the mixing ration is 12 (1 part color for 2 parts developer). Use 10 volume developer for deposit only or 1 level of lift, 20 volume developer for levels of lift, 30 volume developer for 3 levels of lift and 40 volume developer for 4 levels of lift.
• How to Use - Section the hair into 4 equal parts for easier application. Take 12 inch sections and apply color starting 12 inches away from the scalp, down to the shaft of the hair. Add color until all 4 sections are completed and process for 15 minutes. Apply the remainder of the color at the scalp area and process for an additional 30 minutes. This is by far the best damn hair dye I have ever purchased in my 40 years of dying hair. The comb ran right through after the process. My hair is hydrated and feels great.bThe absolute best part is that it doesn't stain too bad AT ALL. I used wipes to wipe the excess off my skin while I was processing in front of the TV. I wore a shower cap during. The slight remainder left on the skin will come right off in the shower. The substance is very thick at first so make sure you mix it really well. It looks very clumpy but I promise you, it's an illusion that goes no where. During application it gets drippier, hence the shower cap. My gray is SUPER resistant, I left it on for an hour. It isn't dry yet but looks fine. If my roots dry into bright blue, I do not feel that it's a failure of the product but a side effect of having 60 year old gray hair. Besides the next process in 2 months will deepen any obvious grays, dyed blue. It's definitely blue black. Oh and most blue black dyes oxidize into a yucky mucky color as you're applying. This dye when applying is a beautiful light blue and oxidizes into a beautiful deep sapphire blue black. I just absolutely love it!
