This is a review of "NUXE Merveillance Lift Eye Lighter Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, and Caffeine. Brightens, Smooths and Hydrates Eye Contour. Reduces All Types of Dark Circles, 0.4 Fl Oz". This eye serum arrived quickly and sealed in a branded box. The product descriptions says that from the first application, all types of dark circles are reduced and that the eye contour is more even and visibly enhanced for 93% of women.The applicator unscrews to reveal a brush that is very similar, if not identical, to the kinds that lip gloss tubes utilize. The serum is opaque, pink, and kind of shimmery. I was disappointed to see the shimmer when opening the tube, but my mind was changed as soon as I applied it to my skin. Somehow, the pink blended into my tan skin perfectly and immediately seemed to flatten out (disguise) the lower eye bags that I struggle to hide. My eye appearance truly was improved right away, and there was a slight tingly (likely from the caffeine) that seemed to be working hard to constrict my blood vessels and successfully reduced the puffiness from my bags. I have been using this regularly since receiving it, and I am so happy with the consistent results. This really does make a difference in my appearance and has successfully helped me reduce my bags. This blends in so well to match my skintone, so you can't even see it on my skin, despite the pearly appearance on the applicator.My mom (who is in her 80s) also tried this, but she had mixed results. The pink pearly appearance of the serum did not blend into her skintone (more yellow) well, so it really stood out on her face. If they had this in a nude color, that would be ideal because the caffeine tingles still worked to reduce the puffiness in her very very pronounced eye bags. Her eye tone and texture did seem noticeable improved after regular use of this product, but the color didn't look great. If they had this serum available in different pigments, that would be ideal since the lifting, smoothing, and de-puffing actually does work, regardless of age, skintone, etc.For me, this worked great. The price is definitely steep, but I cannot complain because in my experience it delivered on all fronts. For my mom, less so, just because it didn't blend. I think that if she starts with this and then adds foundation, that would probably be a good work around.Recommended.
