First off, the most important thing to me is the SMELL of hair products. I dont' care how well they work if they STINK. This has such a subtle dreamy scent I can't get enough. I have no problem reapplying it throughout the day for a touch up, or to simply give my hair a nice scent. Women get it how our longer hair picks up EVERY scent out there and by the end of the day can smell, well, not freshly cleaned. This stuff keeps that in check.As for its performance, it's perfect for me. I have very fine and thick hair. It doesn't weight it down. It protects from my heat styling products too, as I use both a hairdryer and a curling iron daily. This product give a subtle shine as well. But NO oily look to it. It's light. It works. And it smells divine.
