I love trying new skincare products and devices, especially when they simplify my routine but still deliver noticeable results. Hydration and glow are always at the top of my list. I had really been wanting to try more K-beauty style toner pads, and when I came across these Neogen Hyal Glow Rose Essence Pads, they looked like something my skin would love.I’ll be honest, I was a little skeptical at first because I don’t usually go for rose essence products. But I decided to give these a shot, and I’m so glad I did because I am genuinely impressed with them. I love that you get 70 pads in one jar, which makes it feel like a solid amount for the price. The jar comes sealed, which I appreciate. The pads are 100 percent cotton, thin but fully saturated with product. They aren’t dripping, but they definitely have plenty of essence on them. You can even see tiny specks throughout the pads from the Damask rose ingredients, which is a nice touch.One of the main reasons I’m so impressed is the ingredient list. After using them, I can confidently say this is a very well formulated hydration and glow focused product. The formula is built around a rose complex using Damask rose water and extract, which helps soothe the skin and give it a healthy, fresh glow without feeling heavy or greasy. What really stands out is that it contains eight different types of hyaluronic acid, and that is not just a marketing claim. These are different molecular weights, meaning some sit on the surface to give immediate hydration and plumping, while others bind water deeper in the skin and help with longer lasting moisture retention. That combination makes your skin feel instantly hydrated but also keeps it comfortable throughout the day. In addition to the hyaluronic acids, it includes glycerin, panthenol, beta glucan, and ceramide 3, which all support the skin barrier and help reduce dryness and tightness over time. Niacinamide is included for overall tone balancing and brightness. Ingredients like centella asiatica, propolis, royal jelly, and heartleaf help calm the skin and support a smoother, healthier appearance. There are also antioxidant plant extracts like green tea, raspberry, and ginger that help protect the skin from everyday environmental stress. One thing to be aware of is that this formula does contain fragrance and rose derived components. It has not caused any issues for me, but if you are very sensitive to fragrance, it would be smart to patch test first.The consistency is a little hard to explain. On the pad it feels thin and watery, but once you wipe it onto your face, it almost feels like a moisturizer in serum form. That’s the best way I can describe it. There is this richness and super soft slip to it. My face immediately felt so soft I honestly couldn’t believe it. Even a couple hours later, my skin still feels just as soft. It looks brighter and more glowy right away too. I have never had something make my skin feel this instantly soft, not even some of my high end moisturizers. I could not believe that when I woke up the next morning after using these, my skin still felt as soft as if I just applied it. I’ve only been using these for about a week now, but my skin already feels more plump and hydrated and looks more even and glowy. Realistically, the results are about hydration and overall skin quality rather than dramatic changes. Short term, you get softer, more hydrated, glowier skin. With consistent use, it supports better moisture retention, smoother texture, and that healthy, plump look rather than targeting acne or strong exfoliation.At the current price of $36 (as of 2/26/26), I think this is a great value. Especially when you insider the amount of pads you get, and the amount of product on them. Overall, these essence pads are a well formulated, hydration focused product that deliver immediate softness and a healthy glow while supporting the skin barrier long term. They are easy to use, gentle, and make my skin look and feel noticeably better. They have honestly become one of those products I reach for without even thinking because I know my skin is going to feel amazing afterward. I absolutely love these pads and will definitely keep repurchasing. Highly recommend.
