I bought this because it is almost a perfect Vitners Daughter dupe. They replace tamanu oil with mineral and soybean oil but I assume that why they charge so much less. I bought my own tamenu and added it.It's a great oil. It makes my skin look happy (and surprisingly even and tan - almost like blurring any discoloration but the ingredients don't explain that magic as far as I can tell). I did get a few hive like bumps but they disappeared when I took a break and I think that's a me problem not a them problem. It is good enough that I will definitely revisit it and likely repurchase (depending on my hive situation).The scent is fine - not hugely noticable and from my perspective that is a very good thing - I don't want my face oil to be perfumed.I'm also not sure it's moisturizing - I'd call it balancing. My face looked even but in no way oily or even dewy.It did clear up a perpetual pimple that I have had by my mouth for a decade+. I have tried everything to get rid of it but a pump of this oil and the comodone rolled right out never to return. Yay!It says it's a sunscreen. The ingredients don't explain that to me either and I am not inclined to risk a sunburn to test it. As a nourishing oil with high levels of antioxidants and magic tanning/ blurring properties it's enough to be worth it without it being a sunscreen.
