I had to give up on Paula's Choice 1% retinol. After 2 plus years of using it and mixing with my La Mer, the retinol product turned on me. It made my skin a horror - so dried out and flaky and old looking. Maybe they changed the formula or maybe my skin (age 68) is getting thinner and more sensitive. I went about a month without using any retinol and wrinkles crept up on my face. I read that Natura Bisse was a good option for sensitive skin so I tried it. After about a month of use (evening only), it is working great and my skin is back to looking good. I don't know if everyone would have the same results, but I think that this is a good retinol for people who are sensitive.
