not as much grit as i hoped but i like the smell and texture. it rinses flawlessly. i have decided to sprinkle some cornmeal in my hand to increase the grit for more exfoliation i consider myself a life long expert exfoliator to keep my skin fresh and renewing. if its dead dry skin i think everyone should help it come off by using a scrub rather than stick it back on with moisturizer that does not penetrate anyway. i would recommend this scrub as i think exfoliation is like exercise. you have to work up to it. this is great and like i said rinsed well with no residue
