NassifMD Wrinkle Blur Targeted Treatment

I'm in my 40s, my mom is in her 70s, and we both have great skin. I have a lot of products by Nassif, most of which I have shuffled off to her because my skin is not the target group. Hers is. She loves the brand, totally loves it. I always give it a try to see how the smell, texture, and overall feel is. But then I pass along to her because she will truly know better about its performance.Little goes a long way! Dont need much!! Comfortable feeling--doesnt make skin feel taut and tight. More gentle, natural smoothing effect. It is temporary, but also will help improve over time too from dimethicone and vitamin CI love dimethicone. It always feels so good on my dry skin. Makes it feel smooth, soft. It is what gives a lot of products that silky soft feel. SOME skin types can be aggravated by silicones so be sure to know your skin, and to always start with clean skin and hands (dont want to trap nasties). It seems to be automatically touted as the bad guy, but it can do wonders for older skin. Dimethicone also lends to skin rejuvenation. Ever see those flexible silicone pads that you can stick to chest, under eyes, neck, forehead or whatever, where they are meant to be kept on for several hours to work their magic? Well dimethicone is the liquid version. Some people hate it, but I for one love it.Mom loves it too. I almost didnt give this to her as i like the way it feels, smells, and performs (despite not my not having lines, wrinkles, this feels great on my dry skin). She likes the subtle blur and easy soft feel. Likes it for use before going out. Makes make up sit nice too (dimethicone is often in primers).If you are already a fan of NassifMD, then add this into your ritual. I do not rate on price-- I can see the price before ordering, this is a boutique line (dr branded tends to have premium pricing), we all have different needs, budgets, preferences, etc. Compared to some stuff I get, this is a fraction of price and works well. I very well can call this a bargain! But if rated on it being a bargain to me, how does that help in terms of rating? So I look for things that I can feel comfortable rating on that others may also be looking for: how does it feel, smell, is there a noticeable difference, and so on. Does it have same info on box that it does on product page. Basically, are you getting what you ordered. Then I add it details on my skin, age, expectations, etc so people can compare against their own. 70 something isnt going to have same needs as a 30 something. So I know when I am shopping I like to know who is writing the review which helps me decide if their info is relevant to me.I initially went with a solid 4 stars because nothing about it is a surprise, and it lines up with what is described in description. I thought that the fact that it wasnt a massive change might be off putting, but then once I took a closer look at the ingredients, it is capable of producing both an immediate subtle effect, and lend to a cumulative improvement over time. If you need a major visual change that is temporary then maybe shop around. If you want a product that double downs on immediate (but subtle) and can work over time too.. then you got a winner here.For that, 5 stars.
