Wanted a alternative to plastic loofah's and old school washcloths. After doing some reading figured I would give these a shot. So far it is as described. One side is smoother the other is slightly more abrasive but not enough to scratch my skin. I do feel cleaner after the shower. Allows my bar soap to lather well. Along with rinsing well seems to dry quickly. Length can take some adjustment time. But not unwieldy.
