This splint is fantastic for people with significant wrist injuries. I have a small fracture of one of the bones of my wrist and was hoping to avoid a cast—my orthopedist and I negotiated and agreed on this splint. It is far more rigid than most wrist splints, and yes it runs a little smaller but I think for the purposes of immobilization that is preferred. I’m using it for my left hand and the thumb hole is cut well. I can see this being hot and a bit tight for wearing if you have just mild carpal tunnel and need a nightly wrist splint, but for more significant wrist injuries and near immobilization this is a fantastic splint. If you have just nightly need for a splint for carpal tunnel or mild injuries then Mueller’s green splint would be perfect. The package was crushed during shipping but it didn’t impact the brace at all.
