My entire adult life, I’ve had oily skin and an oily scalp, and I could get away with washing my hair every other day only if I used a ton of dry shampoo powder, which left my scalp itchy. Occasionally I was able to stretch that to a third day, but my hair looked greasy and felt gross.I started using the Moroccanoil treatment about two weeks ago as a pre-wash treatment, and it has been transformative. This week, I used the treatment on a Tuesday morning before shampooing, and I didn’t have to wash again until Saturday morning (using a modest amount of dry shampoo on days 3 and 4). This has NEVER happened to me before. I am amazed at the difference this treatment has made.Unfortunately, it is very expensive. I’ve used 3/4 of the bottle in just a couple of weeks, and I don’t think I can justify spending $80/month on this product. Which makes me sad, because it’s incredible.
