Medline Adjustable Homecare IV Pole for Home Use

I needed an IV pole for work that has the look of a hospital IV pole, but could be relatively easily transported from one location to another. This IV pole was perfect for those purposes.The top portion has the metal look and downward curved style hooks of hospital IV poles. And despite not having a huge, wide, and super heavy base, the pole still stands solidly and sturdily (for what it is -- mind you it's obviously not meant to take hospital-level abuse). Was a little surprised that the telescoping pieces tighten via turning the pieces themselves. But however it worked, it seemed more than stable enough, and held up 1000 mL fluid bags just fine, even at pretty tall / extended heights.Most importantly, this IV pole is lightweight enough, telescopes down short enough, and the base folds in skinny enough, that it is easily transportable between different locations. Do read the dimensions, as in my opinion, the last product picture makes the compacted pole look shorter than it actually is. However, I think this is about as short yet still sturdy and capable of being extended to full height, as you're going to get. Just know you're not going to fit this thing entirely in a backpack, without quite some length sticking out the top. This IV pole is also a reasonable size and weight to send via mail without breaking the bank. The included carry case is admittedly pretty cheap-feeling, but it does the job fine.Combined with the very reasonable price, this IV pole is a win for a transportable, real IV pole.
