I went to a few local chain sports stores and they were charging the same price but for only 1 sleeve....this order included a pair.I ordered the sleeves for my 8 year old son who plays little league football. He was constantly suffering from cuts and bruises on his elbows and forearms. Since he has worn the sleeves there have been no cuts, no bruises, and he is less hesitant in blocking and making tackles.He normally doesn't like anything constricting his arms and was a bit hesitant with the idea of wearing them. Once he tried them on he had no complaints and wears them to every practice and game.The sleeves are high quality neoprene with some nice honeycomb type padding. My son has even tested them by forearming everything in my house including his older brother. Apparently theses sleeves bring out the superhero in kids.Cons: The only issue I've seen is slight fraying of the neoprene and threads after a few games and practices. This is nothing major and can be quickly fixed by quickly running a lighter or flame over the frayed edges. Sort of like when you fix frayed shoelaces with a flame.This is definitely a well built product for a great price.
