Ive learned a lot about skin care for my 46 year old face. The biggest theme I've found is that as we get older our skin cells regenerate less and less. That means my face needs help removing old skin cells to reveal new, glowy skin. The best way to do this is to exfoliate your skin. I try to either use a exfoliating face wash or chemical (like AHA's) every day. I honestly use physical exfoliants and chemical exfoliants every day. My skin is a combination oily to normal so this works for me. I also don't have sensitive skin, so that helps.This exfoliant is lightweight and refreshing, but I get a little tingle. I feel like it's working when it tingles (not sure that's a real qualification, but it's makes me feel that way) and it makes my skin feel clean afterwards. My serums and skincare seems to sink in a little better afterwards. It's a really watery liquid so I use a flat cotton to wipe it on. It has natural citrus oils which give it a citrusy scent but there is also a little scent of alcohol. The smell is not very strong and dissipates within seconds of applying. It dries really quickly because of the thin liquid, so you only have to wait about 30 seconds.It may be a little too much for someone with dry or sensitive skin to use everyday, so it may help to test the strength out on your arm first.Overall, I would recommend this for exfoliating skin and making it feel clean and glowy.
